Disclaimers

Cosmetic Injectables & Advanced Skin Treatment Disclaimer

Cosmetic injectable treatments and advanced skin procedures offered by Rosenrose Skin Clinic are elective medical and cosmetic procedures and are undertaken at the client’s own risk following consultation and informed consent.

Prescription Medicines

Anti-wrinkle injections (including Botulinum toxin / “Botox®”) are prescription-only medicines. Treatment is provided only following an appropriate clinical consultation and assessment by a qualified practitioner.

A prescription will be issued only where treatment is deemed clinically appropriate. Rosenrose Skin Clinic reserves the right to decline or modify treatment if it is not considered suitable or safe.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are implantable medical devices designed to be injected beneath the skin to restore volume, enhance facial contours, and reduce the appearance of lines and folds.

  • Dermal fillers are not permanent

  • Results and longevity vary between individuals

  • Implantable devices carry inherent risks, including rare but serious complications

Advanced Skin Treatments (Including Chemical Peels)

Advanced skin treatments include, but are not limited to:

  • Microneedling

  • Chemical peels

  • Skin rejuvenation and corrective treatments

Chemical peels involve the controlled application of chemical solutions to exfoliate and stimulate skin renewal. Depth, healing time, and results vary depending on skin type, treatment strength, and individual response.

Risks & Side Effects

All cosmetic and skin treatments carry potential risks and side effects, which may include but are not limited to:

  • Redness, swelling, peeling, flaking, or irritation

  • Bruising, tenderness, or discomfort

  • Infection, inflammation, pigmentation changes, or delayed healing

  • Scarring or prolonged sensitivity in rare cases

  • Rare but serious complications associated with injectable treatments, including vascular compromise

While every effort is made to minimise risk, no cosmetic or medical procedure is risk-free.

No Guarantee of Results

  • Cosmetic and skin treatments are not an exact science

  • Outcomes depend on individual anatomy, skin type, medical history, lifestyle factors, and adherence to aftercare

  • No specific result, outcome, or duration of effect is guaranteed

  • Dissatisfaction with results does not entitle the client to a refund where treatments have been delivered appropriately and in accordance with professional standards

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing complete and accurate disclosure of medical history, medications, allergies, and relevant health information

  • Following all pre- and post-treatment instructions

  • Avoiding contraindicated treatments or products unless advised

Failure to comply may increase risk and limit the Clinic’s liability.
